Jewelry Care

JEWELRY CARE

We choose quality materials that are designed to last. We currently offer pieces in stainless steel, brass and copper. Though all are quality, they each require a little something different for upkeep.

STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel is quite durable and is resistant to water and tarnishing. To ensure its longest life and the prevention of fading with time, we recommend that you avoid direct contact with lotions, perfumes, oils, and sweat. Over time, these chemicals can cause your pieces to dull and lose some of its shine. As we know your lotions and good smelling perfumes and oils are necessity, we suggest that you refrain from applying accessories directly after their application. Allow them to dry and soak in before adding your jewelry pieces. To remove the days natural oils, re-shine, or wipe away fingerprints, simply use a soft, dry polishing cloth.

COPPER AND BRASS

There is a great, quality look that comes with copper and brass but with that they tend to be a bit more delicate. We choose quality plating options to protect these pieces and their lifespan. Plated jewelry is made of a thin layer of gold or silver electroplated over brass. Do not wear your copper and brass plated jewelry in water. Avoid direct contact with lotions, perfumes, oils, and sweat. We suggest that you refrain from applying accessories directly after the application of any of those products. Allow them to dry and soak in before adding your jewelry pieces. To remove the days natural oils, re-shine, or wipe away fingerprints, simply use a soft, dry polishing cloth.
